What We Do

Drug addiction is a disease on par with hypertension and diabetes, and while a number of people have had treatment for the disease of  addiction, many have relapsed to the disease. We recognize the need to help recovering individuals maintain their sobriety and offer: Recovery Support Services (RSS). One of the programs offered through RSS is Recovery Coaching, also known as Peer to Peer mentoring, a strength-based approach that fosters health, resiliency and wellness. Recovery Coaching services are typically delivered through social support domains of:
Emotional, Informational, Instrumental and Affiliation Support to individuals and their families in their efforts to remain free of addiction and to improve their overall Wellness. Recovery Coaches assist individuals and families by:
· Promoting recovery and identify barriers and obstacles to recovery.
· Help to initiate and sustain an individual/family in their recovery from substance use or addiction.
· Help an individual find ways to stop using (abstinence) or reduce harm associated with addictive behaviors
· Help a client find resources, i.e. Detox, treatment, family support , education, local/online support groups and assist clients in creating a  (recovery plan) to maintain their own recovery.

In addition to our individual recovery support services, we offer ‘Life Skills/Educational Workshops’ to groups in Recovery Homes, Independent Living, Shelters, Transitional Living and other facilities where the need exists.
